No, this is a piece by illustrator Edward Gorey, known for his black & white drawings, such as The Gashleycrumb Tinies. He did this backdrop for the set of the operetta, "The Mikado" by Gilbert and Sullivan.

This is really pretty! I have art as my WW too...but I don't know who the artist is...I'll have to look at the painting tonight and see if I can figure it out.
