This is a view out the front window during the New Year's Day blizzard.

Join me tomorrow for my Thursday Thoughts on being cozy and warm while watching the storm.

So cold out there.

I cannot say that we have had what is even close to a blizzard, but last night there actually fell some snow, which is now decorating the city with the tiniest film of white. Nice. Love your image and would love to be snowed in because I don't wanna go to work today ;-)

Tabib - I wouldn't advise a winter trip to Nova Scotia! Not for a tropical person, anyway.

Bogsider - Here's a link to the newspaper article on the storm. It started before midnight on New Year's Eve, so everyone who was downtown for the big concert and fireworks were coated in snow - even the musicians. (We watched it from home on live TV. There was even snow on the drum set.)

Burrr. It does have that blizzardy look! What a way to start the new year!

Thanks for stopping by, and happy WW!

We had more snow and now it's freezing rain. I wouldn't go out if it weren't for the fact that Boo is in school and I have to get her in an hour.

That's what it looked like out our window last night. It's still snowing but not quite as bad.

Oh wow, that's a lot of snow -- some major wintry weather you've got going there!

We're getting piles and piles of rain -- some roads are flooded out. Tonight the rain is supposed to change to snow, so we might have some of the white stuff by tomorrow, too. :)
