Poetry Train Monday - 140 - American sentence 2

I waited until the hockey game was over before writing this for the Poetry Train. I was hoping I would have a much different American sentence to craft.

Stan Ski says Sorry your team lost. I follow soccer, and my team only managed a draw.

Linda Jacobs says It was an important game but is not the end for Canada. Good sentence!

Akelamalu says Oh shame your team lost. :(

Phew, life is not easy, but it's true that what goes around comes around. And sooner or later it'll happen for you, and for your team too! American Sentences are fun, Allen Ginsberg, eat your heart out.

It sure was a great game, even though Canada came up short. At least there's still a chance for Canada.

I was going to make a note of this form so I could practice it. Thanks for the reminder.

I love an American Sentence that I can imagine someone actually saying. i think that's what separates the wheat from the chaff in that particular form.

I always enjoyed watching the Olympics when I was young. Now we get all our news from radio, so we've missed most of the Olympic coverage. Sorry for the team loss.
