Here are my favorite make-me-swoon blossoming trees and shrubs:
1 - Rhododendron
2 - Japanese cherry tree
3 - Flowering crab tree
4 - Japanese flowering quince
5 - PeeGee hydrangea
6 - Lilac
7 - Golden chain tree
8 - Hawthorne
9 - Serviceberry
10 - Forsythia
11 - Heather
12 - St. John's wort
13 - Potentilla
And there you have it. My heart swelling inside, singing joyously in visual form.
Happy TT!
Julia, these are just gorgeous... particularly like the Japanese Cherry
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, it made me sneeze, that's how realistic they were to me. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT, mine will be up shortly.
Amy cracks me up...
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous pictures. We have the rhododendron in the first picture, only ours is -- ready? -- PINK. I kid you not. It's blooming right now, and it is FAB.
Happy TT, darling!
Awesome Julia! I just bought some Lilacs to put in my yard. I think I've killed them by putting them out too early though. :(
ReplyDeleteOh well, back to Costco to buy more!
my black thumb is so severe that plants and trees curl up and die when i walk by so all i can do is sigh and appreciate pretty pictures. Thanks for these. Loverly.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, Julia. I planted two lilac bushes and two hydrangeas last year. So far, only one lilac bush has leaves on it. Hope that doesn't mean I've killed the other three!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pixs! Makes me want to take a good long stroll through a garden.
ReplyDeleteOh beautiful, beautiful list!!
ReplyDeleteI've had several of those trees and love them all. :)
What a nice reminder of Sping! I can't grow a flower to save my life. Pictures and botanical gardens are as close as I get;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the pink ones!
