  1. It seems like red was the most popular color of choice for dresses this year.

My vote for best dressed goes to Helen Mirren. But she's so classy, she'd probably look good in a potato sack.

  2. oh, Thank you, dear!! I had wanted to see pictures of more than just the five or six that have been all over the news. I've been too swamped to surf to find them, so I'm VERY grateful that you weren't!

  3. Penelope Cruz is missing her most attractive accessory, Javier Bardem.

  4. Helen Mirren was my absolute fave. She's so sexy (I feel compelled to add - 'for her age' - isn't that shameful?!)
Katherine Heigl looked like an old-Hollywood movie star with the red dress & lips and classic hairstyle.

    James McAvoy is married? Bummer...

  5. I didn't watch the Oscars and I haven't even looked to see who won! How bad is that! Those are some beautiful dresses though! I love Heidi Klum. I've become a bit of a Project Runway fan!

  9. You know, you have to have a great body to pull dress #6. Otherwise you're going to look like an overblown fish.

  10. I had not even seen Diane Lane in any of the coverage, and you are right, that dress is beautiful.

Hellen Mirren looked fantastic, but then, she always does. I totally admire that woman!

I loved all the red dresses, but I bet all those women were PISSED that they were all wearing red, when they probably figured they'd be the stand out, you know? ;-)

  23. I like number 12 and number 3 the best. I was surprised how many gowns didn't have a designer's name attached.

  24. I love the dresses at these events. And this one was fun because they auctioned off the red dresses. So the ladies wore second wonderful dresses. YAY!! Heidi Klum is really great - my fav.

    Happy TT!
