Top photo was taken at the end of 1986, for my first trip home for Christmas after I moved away. Of course I flew straight over to the Kimber's, where I'd been the daytime babysitter for almost two years. L to R: Michael, Emily and me
Bottom photo was taken this evening at their dad's book launch. Hadn't seen each other in awhile so I was pretty excited to give them a hug. Had so much fun catching up. Aren't they marvellous? L to R: me, Michael and Emily
At first it made me think brother's and sisters. My family was very spread apart in age. Very often my older sisters were left with the youngest children. Cool time warp!
great pics. you all look like you're having a great time. and on another note: interesting recos you provided - had not heard of them before! i'll have to make a point of searching them out.
Aside from hair colour, Emily looks the same -- same brilliant smile. Michael... not so much. If only his mouth was open in the 'after' picture *giggle*
Isn't it weird when kids you babysat are suddenly out of school and TALLER than you??? A girl I babysat as an infant just graduated high school. I feel so old!!
Let's do the Time Warp!
