  1. Tonight was my first night back at choir. I didn't go for the spring session because I was recuperating from the loss of several people last year. Wasn't in the mood to sing.

But I was really missing it, and glad to be back. This picture is from the last concert, before last Christmas.

  3. Dear Julia,

I have been trying to reach you about Pam Langille's Memorial Service coming up on September 26th. Mom and I just loved the blog you did about Pam in July. I wonder if you could email me, or blog me (I've never been part of a blog before) or call me 827-4540.

Also, so glad to hear you sing with the choral society. Now that I'm retired I'm looking for a choir to be part of outside of my church choir.

Really want to hear from you. Through your blog about Pam, I feel like I know you already. I also think I may have met you briefly at some point in the miserable last year.

    Hugs, Barb

  4. Hi Barb - Sorry to keep you waiting. My evenings have been very full this week and by the time I was free it was after 10:00 pm.

    You can email me at:

I do remember meeting you at your mom's apartment beside the Public Gardens. Looking forward to emailing you or talking with you.

  5. She writes, she blogs, she sings - who knew! Although I sing in the car at the top of my lungs, I think my family and friends are glad I don't belong to the choir!
