    mine are all gone.
    every time I see them each spring I start singing --

    Little bread-and-butterflies kiss the tulips
    And the sun is like a toy balloon
    There are get up in the morning glories
    In the golden afternoon

    There are dizzy daffodils on the hillside
    Strings of violets are all in tune
    Tiger lilies love the dandy lions
    In the golden afternoon

    Just yesterday I took pictures of the Yellow flower from my garden. Love the colour!

    Daffodils - or buttercups as Granny used to call them - are the perfect spring flower. Those cheery yellow heads just scream SPRING!!

    Julia, just to let you know, because of the Derby events last weekend, I didn't do my 7 Wonders post. Being a Kentucky girl, I was glued to all the festivities!

    Sandee - We've been wanting daffodils in the garden for awhile, so this first bloom was exciting!

    Joanne - We've got a yellow forsythia in the yard, too - nice punchy color.

    Lori - The smell of spring is definitely sweet this year.

    Pamela - What great lyrics. Thanks for sharing them! I haven't heard this one before.

    Bobbi - We've got real buttercups in the garden, too. I always leave a few, but if I don't heavily weed them, they'd take over the world.

    Jennifer - This is an infatuation picture - it was the first day of blooming, so I raced out with my camera to capture the little beloveds.

    Bookbabie - We did, too - I finally got them in before the ground froze.
