That blue on the beta fish is outstanding. Great list.
I want to see the Birds of Paradise for real.
ReplyDeletebeautiful :)
ReplyDeletesimply beautiful!
The unchanging principle
I love horses ever so much! And panthers and beta fish. And I ADORE HIGHLAND CATTLE! They just look like you could snuggle up with them like a teddy bear!
ReplyDeleteI love big cats and black leopards are my favorites, which is why I write about black leopard shifters.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd add owl to my list. :)
I love the horse photograph. You get the feeling that he loves his freedom.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a scent-sational day!
Patty
Ok, I know that I shouldn't, but whenever I hear or read "bird of paradise," an old country song with a line that goes, "May the bird of paradise fly up your nose" automatically pops into my head, and I start laughing. I can't help it!
ReplyDeleteThe arctic fox is gorgeous.
They're beautiful. I wonder how does it feel to pet a Belgian shepherd.
ReplyDeleteSomething about that black horse made me think of a shot from the Black Stallion movie. Remember it? Man, I loved those books.
ReplyDeleteI was into the Belgian Sheepdog for awhile, but I'm simply not a dog person. I think if a dog happened now, it would be a greyhound. Or maybe a Pit Bull. Yep, I'm serious about that last.
That is a great list...Lions are so amazing aren't they? I loved the Betta Fish too!!! Quite a diverse group of animals there... ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy T13!!
These are all great picks. That blue on the beta fish is outstanding. Great list Happy T13!
ReplyDeleteOooh, they're all beautiful! Panthers and Bettas are two of my personal favorites as well.
ReplyDeleteLove this TT! They're all so beautiful! I'm going to steal this idea! LOL!
ReplyDelete*hugs*

My TT is at http://paigetylertheauthor.blogspot.com/
What a pretty 13 list. That beta is outstanding, but the polar bear is my favorite.
ReplyDeletepretty smooth list
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love Big Cats and seagulls remind me of where I grew up. Great TT!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I would have to add gorillas to that list :)
ReplyDeleteNo wolves?
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I love all thirteen of those animals! Oooh, that black panther makes me think of my kitty, Dorydoo, on steroids. :) And the bird of paradise -- simply gorgeous! And lions... and polar bears... such wonderful pictures. You've put a smile on my face.
ReplyDeleteWilla - So do I!
ReplyDeleteAmericanising Desi - It relaxes me to look at them.
Ms Snarky Pants - I've loved horses since I knew what they were, but as an urban gal it's been an arms' length love affair.
Shelley - Panther is my animal totem. I REALLY get into them.
Patty - Isn't it a gorgeous photo? I found it on the web. Couldn't find a photographer's name for it, though. But what a shot.
Carleen - Now it's going through my head, too.
Hazel - I used to have a husky-samoyed mixed breed dog, and I think the Belgian shepherd's fur would feel similar.
Susan - There's a Belgian shepherd in my area that I see while out on walks with my Xena, and it has such a prance. Almost horse-like. There are also quite a few greyhounds (incredibly sweet personalities) and a lot of pit bulls (all the ones in my area are very chilled out and well-behaved.) Remember the kids' picture books about Carl the pit bull?
Smittenly Written - Lions are always Aslan to me. And we used to have a betta fish - very beautiful.
Adelle - I love how the bettas look when they swim. Very hypnotic.
Devilish Southern Belle - Panthers are just magnificent.
Paige Tyler - I can't wait to see what your list looks like.
Calico Crazy - The polar bear is my husband's animal totem. And this picture is definitely my husband in animal form!
I Beati - Thanks!
Cheeky Monkey - Yes, the seagulls are a big part of life here on Canada's east coast, and I never get tired of hearing them call.
Jill - I looked at the primates, but found I kept getting drawn back to birds, strangely enough.
Travis - You're my favorite wolf. And I don't have a picture of you.
Thomma Lyn - 'Dorydoo, on steroids' - LOL!!
In the mood for a parade??

Susan! - If you can believe it, this wasn't my Friday off (that was last week...) Otherwise, I would have been lining the parade route! But I've been following it in the media all day, and when I got home I watched all the footage on the news, while I could hear Sam Roberts playing in concert for the event plain as day from the back deck.
ReplyDeleteThose are some great animals...I share some of the same favorites, especially the panther.
ReplyDeleteJust dropping in to say hello, it's been FAR FAR too long since I've stopped by.
