Sukhmandir - In Canada we celebrated Thanksgiving last weekend. Our growing season is shorter, so our harvest celebration comes well before November. There's nothing growing in the garden by then - unless you're out on the west coast.
I love the plates.... Star fruit on pie? I have never seen it done in person.. Might have to try that on my next pie.. Your cousin did a wonderful job...
i used to love it when my family would get together for thanksgiving and eat and my aunt and I would go walking afterwords. that's what your pictures evoked in me. thanks for the trip down memory lane. have a great day.
