wonderful photos Julia~ we have a couple ships coming into Maysville next weekend through Dec 5th. i can't wait either. one is called Nina with an accent over the second n. we've seen this ship once before in 2005. didn't get any pictures though. this time i'll be prepared with camera in tow. i'll share them afterwords. though i don't think they'll ever top your pictures.

I particularly like the candle photo. (Is it a coincidence/play on words that several photos were of alcohol {"shots"} :)? Hopefully, those photos were showing celebrations!
Great pics. I specially remember your story about that Russian ship and your sister (if that is the ship in the picture, but I remember the story anyway).
