Actually, this is the art of making your garden look natural when you've put it all there yourself. My sister and I took cuttings from a roadside rosebush a few years ago, which I planted in the front yard. Then last year, our neighbors dug up their backyard to install a sizeable deck, and my mom - who loves rocks - transferred all the rocks they'd backhoed out of the yard and made a tumbledown drystone fence in our front yard. This year the rose grew up beside the rocks as if they'd both been there for ages.
