Just another Christmas Day in our neck of the woods. Where Uncle Charlie sits down at the piano to play a tune or two, and Gram listens from her rocking chair, clad of course in a tiara.
This was taken 7 years ago, our first year in our current house. Wonderful memories, as this is our second Christmas without Gram.
How nice! Looks like a great night
Great photo! I love Gram's tiara!!!
Not participating, but wanted to comment.
Grams are so special. Both of mine have been gone many, many years. I love the tiara.
Have a great day. Big hug. :)
Julia - every picture I see of your family makes me feel warm.
Explain that?
Bobbi and Sandee - this was a tiara I got her for her birthday. But it seemed to make its way into other days, as well. Christmas seemed like a good one.
Wylie - my family is very warm and fuzzy. And huggy. I guess it comes through the lens.
Awesome picture, Julia!!
Julia - I agree, but I think its also in the way you describe everyone with such affection. Makes me want to hug all of you :)
Great photo. There's nothing better than a singalong around the piano. :)
This will be my 22nd holiday season without my gram. I always enjoy the wonderful holiday memories of her, and I still miss her lots.
Gram always dressed to a T, in this case a tiara.
What a nice memory. Thank you Julia, Emily has been working with Granddad, Your uncle Charlie, with her guitar, I hope she is confident enough to play at the Christmas family diner.
I hope so, too, Heather!
