Janet - this was taken on New Year's Eve, when Mom and Brad and I rang in 2010 with as much elegance as we could, since we wanted it to set the tone for the year to come. Mom only has two salad plates in this pattern, which she found at Value Village, believe it or not.

I'm an incurable dish lover. Used to spend a lot of time going through thrift stores to find unusual pieces. They surely set the tone, as the do in your photo.
