Travis at Trav's Thoughts invites everyone to lay down a short set of music that takes their fancies for his 5 on Friday meme.
Officially starting my vacation as of today. Sweet.
The next installment of my Beatles series continues with the enigmatic Paul McCartney.

My quirky side has always loved "Uncle Albert". Even more I've enjoyed McCartney's foray into Oratorios with Liverpool Oratorio and Standing Stones.
Jamie,I'm with you on"uncle Albert",Julia I enjoyed this set,Thank you.
Ah Michelle - one of my favourites. :)
"Paperback Writer" has always reminded me of Sundays at my grandfather's house and dancing to Beatles records with my cousins in the living room. My Uncle Bill was the big Beatles fan and lived at home at the time so we got to listen to all of his cool records!
Maybe I'm Amazed is one of my all time favorite tunes.
And I remember some silly times my sister and I used to have with Admiral Halsey.
