Travis at Trav's Thoughts invites everyone to lay down a short set of music that takes their fancies for his 5 on Friday meme.
I've had a rather interesting week, and by that I mean as-far-as-acupuncture-is-concerned-what-seems-alarming-or-horrible-is-good kind of way. Let's just say intense detoxing is not for the faint of heart, and leave it at that.
Or, I can take you along for the ride.
1 - I'm So Tired - The Beatles
2 - Dizzy - Tommy Roe
3 - Ache - No Doubt
4 - Die Another Day - Madonna
5 - Wasn't That a Party? - Irish Rovers

"Julia Phillips Smith" has been included in the Sites To See for this week. I hope this helps to attract many new visitors to here.

I've never done acupuncture. It sounds like an adventure if a wee bit painful.
I've never done acupuncture either but if it would help my aching back I'd be all for it!
Great set this week, I am particularly fond of Madonna's "Die Another Die"!
I enjoyed the Irish Rovers,I have been to those kinds of parties myself back in the day.thanks for sharing this great set.
I hope that you get to have a rest from your detoxing. Great set. Lots of variety in styles. Yay!
Goodness. So I guess this weekend is about resting and recuperating?
Hi Everyone -
I'm still recuperating but made it into my day job for the last two days of this week, at least.
Just a note about my personal reaction to acupuncture:
Because I'm being treated for lifelong immune problems and chronic pain, my body reactions are as large as the originating problem.
My husband also receives acupuncture treatment and never has the sorts of reactions that I do.
I'm pretty sure I'm on the verge of turning a major corner, and so this latest reaction is a price worth paying.
Hope the accupuncture eventually works. x
