5 on Friday -- Set 235

Spinning Friday tunes since 2010...

For anyone who wants to join in, simply choose five pieces of music and post them for other bloggers to enjoy. Then check out the set posted by the other 5 on Friday blogger -- you can sign in over at Golch Central's Rambling Stuff.

As I was enjoying last Sunday night's episode from the final season of True Blood, it was great to hear Roy Orbison's In Dreams as Arlene danced with vampire Keith at Bellefleur's (the former Merlotte's.)

I found the song staying with me as the week progressed -- so it's launching this week's set.

1 - In Dreams -- Roy Orbison

2 - In the Midnight Hour -- Wilson Pickett

3 - In the End -- Linkin Park

4 - In a Big Country -- Big Country

5 - In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning -- Frank Sinatra

5 on Friday - Set 148

Travis at Trav's Thoughts invites everyone to lay down a short set of music that takes their fancies for his 5 on Friday meme.

This week's set belongs to Scorpius, the main character from my NaNoWriMo 2012 project. Book 1 of my Dragonsfyre series follows Scorpius from age 7 until he becomes a lord's man bodyguard by age 19. In Book 2, Scorpius enters his 20s only to find the Eighth Dominion is a far more dangerous land than he could have imagined when he apprenticed with the falconer.

For a taste of what Scorpius and the others were up to during NaNoWriMo, check out my snippets posted for yesterday's Thursday Thirteen.

1 - Only the Lonely - Frank Sinatra

2 - I Will Not Bow - Breaking Benjamin

3 -In the End - Linkin Park

4 - Poison and Wine - The Civil Wars

For those who have been reading my blog for awhile, you'll know that Scorpius has an uncanny resemblance to Richard Armitage, featured in these clips from North & South.

5 - Save the World Tonight - Swedish House Mafia

5 on Friday - Set 68

Which takes us to my Supernatural obsession, which knows no bounds.

Season 6 just finished airing, and I'm still trying to process what happened.

*insert Luke Skywalker "No!"*

Since it's on my mind, here are five of my favorite Supernatural fan videos from my You Tube playlist.

Can you tell I'm a Dean Girl?
