This sunrise greeted me yesterday morning. This is the view from my doorway. When I first saw it, there were a lot deeper reds, but by the time I went for my camera there was a three layer effect going on.
And the 'red sky in morning, sailor take warning' thing was right on the mark. We had a heavy snowfall by late afternoon.
