These are wildflowers growing out in Eastern Passage along Halifax Harbour, Nova Scotia. I took this shot in late August. There are Queen Anne's Lace, some pale yellow flowers I can't identify but which grow commonly along the coast, Golden Rod and purple Vetch.
Oh I knew I've seen a similar picture before from my fiance's sister. Wow your from Nova Scotia? Very cool! Nice to meet you :)
Wonderful! I love wildfolowers!
Bring on the allergy meds. Wildflowers so enchanting with the Golden Rod among Queen Anne's Lace, I love the splash of purple.
Very pretty. :)
Oh wow, what beautiful, beautiful wildflowers. I adore wildflowers. And some of the loveliest ones are the late bloomers. :)
Hi Julia, this is a pretty patach of wildflowers you found. I liked your pictures above too.
They yellow ones are goldenrod. Goldenrod is the state flower of Nebraska. A lot people are alergic to its pollen.
This link will show you how big they can grow (in Texas) when watered regularly in a bed:
