This is a little piece of what Canada's boreal forest looks like - just up the road from my house.
This week, a landmark deal was struck between conservation groups and the forestry industry to preserve this piece of the world's ecosystem. Hats off to all of the passionate people involved who worked so hard to come up with this win-win result.
