Thursday Thirteen - 31 - 13 Ways to Enjoy Gerard Butler in Honor of His Birthday, Nov. 13th

I'm busily writing my vampire book. My main character is modelled after Gerard Butler, who recently celebrated his birthday. Since he's been inhabiting my mind this month - I know, it's tough, but someone's got to do it - I thought I'd assemble some visuals to share with you.

Enjoy!

1 - This is an expression my character would have. We'll chalk this one up to research.

2 - I love the way he's so focused on her. Guys - women find good listeners very sexy.

3 - A meeting of the minds - as in mine and my husband's. I'm into Gerry, he's into Rosario.

4 - Do people hear Gerry when he's speaking? Or do they all float away just looking into his eyes?

5 - He can appear so brooding sometimes, and so filled with life at other times. Guess acting was a good way to go for him.

6 - The sound of his laughter is so infectious!

7 - Something's always going on inside that mind. As an actor, he does a lot of emoting through that piercing gaze of his.

8 - Parties, galas and premieres - guess it's better than having to ask, "Did you find everything you're looking for?"

9 - I wouldn't get too annoyed if he was standing up in front of me at a hockey game. Would you?

10 - Thank heavens he's not the type of guy who'd step on his co-star's evening gown at the premiere party.

Woops - I guess he is.

Was he quick enough to charm his way out of that one?

11 - Who could resist that? Not me...

12 - He's being introspective again. I'll just listen to his sexy voice for awhile.

13 - Back to the red carpet, Gerry. It does suit you.

That works for me. You are right you have to stay motivated. He would certainly do that. Have a great TT. :)

He's cute all right, but yes, I'd get angry if he blocked my view of hockey. NOTHING comes between me and my Penguins. Even losing and lousy play. Yick.

Susan, I can sympathize. If an overly enthusiastic fan was standing and blocking my view, I'd probably tap him and say, "Excuse me..."

Because, after all, I'm Canadian, and even if you're going to chew someone out, you've got to be polite about it.

And then he would turn around and fix that green-eyed gaze on me...I might forget to breathe for a minute, Susan. I'm quite certain of it, actually.

HILARIOUS.

I think I have been living under a rock, I don't know who this guy is, but he is certainly eye candy.

Now I am off to google him and will probably have an aha moment.

I can see him as a great inspiration for a character based on looks alone! :)

Why I don't remember that voice you are talking about??
But then, I like the pictures, so why border with the voice!!

I have to admit I don't know this actor, but he IS yummy! So he's a vampire in your book? What's it about?

julia said...

Jenny and Sniz - here is an earlier Gerry Butler TT that shows some of his film/British TV roles.

Sniz - here's another TT where I introduce 13 characters from my vampire novel I'm currently finishing.

hes into Rosario Dawson, how the hell did that happen

julia said...

Sparky - my hubby thinks Rosario is HAWT! Just like I think Gerry is...well, you know what I think about Gerry. I've featured him on 3 TT's, for heaven's sake. I thought it was a scream that our two hotties found each other at an event and were arm-in-arm.

I haven't seen any movies with this guy. I did find out that he has been cast as Jimmy Malone (played by Sean Connery in the original film) in the upcoming prequel "Untouchables: Capone Rising". That sounds like it may be good.

Great list. Awesome pictures. Happy TT.

Oh yeah, thanks for commenting on my "Dallas" TT and for voting in the TV theme poll.

Thanks for coming by Julia.

I haven't quite firgured out what it is about Gerard Butler that I like, but I definitely like him! Can't wait to read a vampire character based on him. I have a shape shifter character based on him so I understand the draw.

See you next week. :)

Well those pixs certainly brightened my afternoon!

Goodness gracious that man is pretty! He can stand up in front of me at a hockey game any day. Or step on my dress...as long as he charms his way out of it afterwards. ;)

no wonder your story's words seem to be flowing so well. with pictures like that to feast your eyes on you just couldn't help bu have something to say.

i think you've just given me a BIG insight into what might be going wrong for me. I don't have my character's as vividly pictured (physically) as this. thus I've been moving them around like chess pieces or puppets. i should know better by now.

i had no idea i shared a b-day with such a breathtaking vision of manly appeal. OK, I'll say it, sexy.

now why was that so hard? could that be yet another reason i'm having so much trouble writing a love story?

happy tt.
