Julia Phillips Smith
This is a drawing by my late grandmother, which she did a month before she passed away. She'd always been a musician, not an artist. But when her hearing became so bad that she couldn't hear herself play the piano any longer, she quite suddenly started to draw at the age of 92. She drew and drew, every day.I love this one. Especially the little clothes hung on the line. She always loved hanging her clothes out and watching them flutter on the line.
Oh, how adorable. I'm sure you will treasure this drawing.
Your late gram did a lovely job. Timeless, Julia!
awwww.... what a pretty picture your Gram did. It must be hard not to hear the music.
Cute...its such a treasure!
