For today's Poetry Train offering, I created a found poem from interview quotes given by Pittsburg Penguins captain Sidney Crosby on winning his first Stanley Cup last Friday at age 21.
He is two years younger than Wayne Gretzky was when he first hoisted the Cup.
Sidney hails from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia - and that's where I'm sitting right now as I type this. We're pretty excited about Sidney's dream come true around here.

It is hard for me to watch this pictures. The penguins beat our own Carolina Hurracanes in the Conference final. It was a sad day when the dream was over. But life goes on...

Susan - Cole Harbour is only a piece of the larger city of Halifax. It's actually nearly countryside out here. Seaside countryside. But we do have a great rink...
Ellievellie - Sorry to bring back the heartbreak. Pittsburgh lost their Stanley Cup last year, and everyone here was crushed on Sidney Crosby's behalf. Even though he was just a baby and we knew it would only be a matter of time before he hoisted the Cup. Still, it was a crusher.
Travis - It's freaky that someone from this humble piece of eastern Canada is that spectacular.
Although I don't understand the significance of it, I am happy for you!

Gautami - The Stanley Cup is the World Cup of hockey. If you're Canadian, it's the most important sports trophy on the planet.
I'm watching the parade and the look on Sid's face... wow. He's reveling in the moment, drinking it all in -- and hungry for more.
