Julia Phillips Smith
doggy play date,
NS Duck Toller mix breed,
These were taken earlier this summer when my mom's friends came for a weekend visit and brought their dog Paige along. Both my dog Xena - the beagle mix - and Paige are mixed-breed dogs with Nova Scotia Duck Toller in that mix. Paige has black lab in there, as well.If you've never heard of the Nova Scotia Duck Toller, it's a breed only recently recognized by the Westminster Kennel Club. The breed is native to my province, Nova Scotia, and naturally there are tons of Nova Scotia Duck Toller mixed breed dogs here. The thing that made me laugh was how much of a mirror the two dogs were to each other.
Not playing this week, but wanted to comment. All I can say is Awwwwwwwwww. How adorable they both are. Have a great day Julia. :)
AWWW..how cute are they? They obviously love each other...too cute. I didn't do Wordless Wednesday, but I do have a bunch of photos of two critters on my blog today (Wednesday) too.
Awww, puppy love ;)
How sweet! I so want to get another Lab but our fence needs some modification before we can get one.Blessings,~Toni~p.s. your almond milk fruit drinks sound wonderful. You had me giggling at your cooking comments (truth be told, I *hated* cooking for most of my life)
That was a lot of fun. Happy WW! :)
I must go check out the nova scotia duck toller. The name is much bigger than the dog.. bwaa ha ha ha ha.
They look as though they got on like a house on fire!
Aww - how cute!!!
I WANT ONE!!!!! boo hooo!(such is my life...my mum wont let me have a pet!)
Very cute Julia. I love Xena. Of course I'm partial to Beagles, my brother bred them.My Dad's current dog is a puppy from my brother's dog's last litter.Snoopy, she's a handful. The father of the litter is a Beagle but has a lot of spaniel mixed. The mother is pure beagle.
Xena looks really happy in the last picture. I hope that Paige will visit Xena again.
