Julia Phillips Smith said...: These were taken earlier this summer when my mom's friends came for a weekend visit and brought their dog Paige along. Both my dog Xena - the beagle mix - and Paige are mixed-breed dogs with Nova Scotia Duck Toller in that mix. Paige has black lab in there, as well.

If you've never heard of the Nova Scotia Duck Toller, it's a breed only recently recognized by the Westminster Kennel Club. The breed is native to my province, Nova Scotia, and naturally there are tons of Nova Scotia Duck Toller mixed breed dogs here. The thing that made me laugh was how much of a mirror the two dogs were to each other.; August 5, 2008 at 9:36 PM

My Dad's current dog is a puppy from my brother's dog's last litter.

Snoopy, she's a handful.
