Mimi Lenox hosted her 5th Blogblast For Peace at her blog, Mimi Writes last week. And I was rather an excited participant.
I'll let her explain how this blogosphere event began: Click here for the story of her grandfather's handmade blue marble, which evolved into the peace globes created for the Blogblast For Peace.
As I moved my way through post after post, all around the blogosphere and literally around the world, I was bowled over by the amazing talent of the creators of the peace globes. For my Thursday Thirteen this week, I'm featuring 13 of my favorite peace globes graciously loaned to me here at A Piece of My Mind.

Brightest of Blessings oxoxo
What a wonderful idea. I like them all, but the one with glasses really caught my attention.
I love your peace globes.
Patty - thanks for letting me post it here. I just love your peace globe!
These are beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Julia. :-)
Thanks for including me in this list of thirteen. I love the beautiful varieties of globes offered in peace around the world.
May peace TRULY prevail.
Those are awesome. If I had better visual talents, I'd have made one long ago.
Carol - thank you so much for letting me share your peace globe here. Your design concept is so simple and powerful.
Susan - My two peace globes have been text-only so far, because I didn't know how to use my paint program. But as you can see I'm drawn to the gorgeous graphic designs of these peace globes. I'm hoping to have a graphic on my globe for the next Blogblast For Peace.
These are wonderful! I had great intentions of participating, but I got busy and forgot. Note to self: do things right away instead of putting them off for later. (which would be more effective if I didn't already have so many notes that I forget to read)
I'm honored as well that you picked my little peace globe... Posting 13 of your faves is a great way to make peace thoughts last longer! Take care and hugs...
Those are so lovely!
Ann - thank you for letting me post yours here. I agree - it keeps the peace vibe reverberating.
You chose some beautiful globes there Julia :)
I love the ones with the peace cats.
Some of these I hadn't seen before myself even. Thanks for including me in the group. These are some inspiring works here.
Thank you for the honor of including me with these wonderful Peace Globes.
Mojo and Travis - I'm bowled over by how wonderful these peace globes are. I'm so glad to be able to include yours in this Thursday Thirteen.
Thank you for including my peace globe along with these other beautiful creations. I'm honoured :O)
They are all gorgeous. When you put them all together in a post like this you can see the seemless unity from place to place. What a lovely thing to do, Julia.
This made me smile and OK OK I cried a little too....I'm soooo emotional lately.
But in a good way.
How beautiful and creative. How wonderful to see the constructive uses that the net can be put to, rather than having to bemoan its dreadful uses!
O wow - thanks for including us in such wonderful company! And what a wonderful idea for a post!
Karl and Ruis
I like #3 best. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, what beautiful peace globes! And I love Karl and Ruis. They are good friends of my Ballicai! :-D
Babs and Karl & Ruis - thank you again for letting me post your peace globes. Don't they look beautiful in this grouping?
What a neat Thursday 13. Goodness, I haven't participated in TT in ages. Time to jump in.
