This is a view of the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, surrounded by tulips in the spring.
Canada is the annual recipient of tens of thousands of tulip bulbs, sent by the Dutch royal family to mark Canada's role in the liberation of the Netherlands in World War II.
Join me tomorrow for my Remembrance Day Thursday Thirteen, where I'll be exploring Canada's role in the two world wars.
Tulips are lovely! Will wait for your next post...
