Today Cole Harbour native Sidney Crosby made history again when he became the youngest recipient of the Order of Nova Scotia.
The 22-year-old captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown last week, and this week received a provincial honour in return.
Premier Darrell Dexter said, "He has accomplished an extraordinary number of things in a young life. Every time he presents himself, he presents himself in a way that makes us proud as a province."
Good for him. Thanks for sharing the joy.
Sid makes us proud here in Da Burgh, too.
Oh congrats to him! That's one sweet-looking medal. And thanks so much for your visit and leaving such a touching comment :)
