This is an original painting by my sister-in-law, Anna Baccin. It's called 'Window seat 2'.

I'll be showcasing thirteen of her pieces for my Thursday Thirteen - drop on by!

And you've been tag!

Just talked to Anna on the phone and discovered the painting is simply 'Window seat' - no '2'. Good to figure these things out before I post them!

Jill - I'll pop by and see what you've got for me.

Very nice picture, must be a very nice painting. Until I read I thought perhaps it was a bathroom carving.

fascinating piece - it could be either a woman or man.
reminds me of one of my favorite paintings in the Louvre, of a young man in the same position sitting by a lake.

I long to know what she is thinking in her window seat. Is she sad? Or is she secure with her own identity. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful piece of art. Your sister-in-law is incredibly talented. Can't wait to see the rest of the series. Happy WW~ Have a nice night.
