This was taken by Vince Bucci at the 78th Annual Academy Awards show two years ago. Before last week, I expected to see Heath Ledger on the red carpet throughout a long and distinguished career. I will miss him very, very much.
I'm paying tribute to him on tomorrow's Thursday Thirteen.
Are you gonna include picture of my Aussie darling?
Me too, I expected to see him in many many movies, me too!!
I didn't know who he was until he died. Just aren't into celebs. It's a shame that anyone that age dies. Celebs or not. Have a great WW. :)
it really is a shame--he was so young. Have a great Wednesday.
It's very sad, I liked him as an actor.
Life is fleeting. How and why some folks toss it away is worth our consideration. Very sad.
I read at Sandee's comment. Me too, I didn't know about him but I saw lot of his movies.
Who are these people :?
Come by and see mine -- more of a statement, actually. I'm about to get a makeover and change my name. Tho't I'd let you know. Happy WW :)
My how time changes things, I'll miss him too.
It's always shocking when someone so young passes away.
This photo is rather poignant, especially when you know how things end up for them.
My heart goes out to their little girl, having to grow up without her father. He always seemed quite doting.
Aw...I remember seeing this. I liked it when he and Michelle were still together.
It's a very nice choice for today.
I'm still in shock over what happened. It's just so horribly tragic to see someone that young and talented gone so suddenly.
Is that Heath Ledger? I didn't recognize him? Who's the girl?
Perfect for Wordless Wednesday, since I seem to be wordless myself about his passing...don't know why, but it's hit hard for a lot of people, hasn't it?
So much promise and talent. What a shame.
He was a fine actor. It was a tragedy his life was cut short so young.
Thats nice shot. Pretty pics.
Had to delete the previous comment (not a bad one) cos I had no idea he died. Wow.
