Travis at Trav's Thoughts invites everyone to lay down a short set of music that takes their fancies for his 5 on Friday meme.
The month marches onwards towards spookier celebrations -- but before we get there, this weekend in Canada it's Thanksgiving.

There's A Light is my favorite this week, simply because it is so much fun to go to a midnight showing and wave your lights with the whole audience. :-)
I could have danced all night is my pick of the week.
As a dedicated midnight movie Rocky Horror fan in my late teens and early 20s, I must bow to Ms Chicken Legs herself. Who knew she would become an Oscar winner?
I love to sing "I Could Have Danced All Night" ... an octave lower than Miss Julie. :) Such a beautiful song.
And as a response to what you posted at my place and your participation in the NaNoWriMo ..."Sweet! There are even other people in my town doing this. I've seen meet ups theoretically set up for other kinds of things, but no one ever participated in them. But, they're even having a kick off Write In. They're meeting at a local diner, at 11:30 pm on Halloween. People can even dress up if we want. I decided to give it a try. Good luck to us! :)"
Great choices Julia. We were in your beautiful country a few weeks ago, had an amazing time. I'm blogging about it at the moment if you want to see where we went and what we saw. x
