Welcome to this year's A to Z Blogging Challenge!

I took part in this event last year and REALLY, really enjoyed it. Many thanks to the 13-member crew overseeing this mammoth blog festival, which runs from Apr. 1st to Apr. 30th.

Last year I fit the challenge into my regular blog schedule, which consisted of poetry on Mondays, the arts on Tuesdays, photography on Wednesdays, a list of thirteen things on Thursdays, music on Fridays and serialized original fiction on Saturdays.

This year, because I've had to pull back significantly from that almost daily posting schedule - focusing on fiction word count - my A to Z Blog Challenge will concentrate on 26 of my

I'm taking a one-week break from my book review Thursday Thirteens. I had to get a writing submission ready for a competition which I passed in on Monday, on my lunch hour. That didn't give me enough time to read the book I won from Amanda Ashby - You Had Me at Halo.
