This was taken last year along the lakeshore on the way to the hospital in Toronto, when my father-in-law was at Toronto General. I drove my mother-in-law and myself in the truck, in a heavy snowfall. Luckily there was almost no one else on the road - except for these geese.
Looks like there should have been a "geese crossing" sign!
Its a lovely picture... very serene!
That's a lovely photo, but it made me feel a little cold. :)
What a wonderful black and white world! Snow is beautiful to look at but cold to be in :)
I hate driving in snow and we certainly don't get ducks crossing the road here! LOL
I wonder why those geese didn't take the southern vacation.
Great blog today, Julia! I also love that Gene Wilder moment of Imagination from Willie Wonka. Makes me all emotional and jubilant!
And after watching the SexyBack video, I think I need to try again with Robin Hood. You have both seasons on DVD right? I should do a marathon so I can get into it. I'm almost finished the first draft of my book, and will need to take a few days off afterward to refill the well before I tackle rewrites, so 14 hours of Robin Hood might be just the thing to inpire me :). Can I borrow? I'm sure you won't like to part with them, but I'll watch them with great intensity....
Julianne - your wish is my command!
